Ted Cruz’s campaign ran into some awkwardness after a recent ad featured a porn star.
But his latest, uploaded on YouTube on Friday, the “It Feels Good to Be a Clinton” ad, spoofs an iconic scene from the 1999 cult classic film, Office Space, and also features a parody of the song from the Geto Boys, Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangsta.
The ad mocks Hillary Clinton for her e-mail server scandal. An actress in her likeness is flanked by two aides who take turns bashing in a computer drive with a baseball bat and with kicks. At one point the actress takes over to kick it in with the heel of her shoe, and even punches it with her bare fist.
The new lyrics make fun of Hillary’s sense of entitlement, lack of explanations, and “lapdogs” in the media. The ad even features her infamous line of “What difference does it make?”
As of Saturday night, the ad has over 650,000 hits on Cruz’s YouTube page. It will air in S.C. during Saturday Night Live.
