McCotter's write-in campaign just got tougher

LANSING, MI — Republican Congressman Thad McCotter’s write-in campaign in the August primary could be even more difficult than originally thought.

Former GOP state Sen. Loren Bennett of Canton Township announced on Facebook Friday that he also will run as a write-in candidate in the 11th District representing parts of Wayne and Oakland counties. He served in the Senate from 1995 through 2002.
