Kimmel’s “pot quiz”—in which he asks stoners to answer some sort of government/current events-related trivia, and then something like “name three types of Doritos”—hit South by Southwest, and needless to say, it was enlightening.
Most participants couldn’t answer questions like “name the three branches of government” or “name as many senators as you can” (“I don’t like senators,” one wise woman replied.) They did, however, know a lot about various strains of weed, donut shops, and the Simpsons.
But after one contestant failed to identify an FDR quote, Kimmel brought in the real expert on all facets of the quiz: Willie Nelson.
“I can’t believe he didn’t know that was FDR,” Nelson said. “He must be smoking better s— than I got.”
