Katie Couric, Rihanna pull April Fools’ Day pranks on late night hosts

The late night television shows were full of April Fools’ Day pranks Wednesday night, but no one pulled them off quite as well as Katie Couric and Rihanna.

Katie Couric used a stunt double to successfully trick new “Late Late Show” host James Corden into believing that she had just taken a worse than Jennifer Lawrence-style tumble down the stairs while walking onto his set.

Corden was visibly shaken and freaking out as he ran over to the woman that he thought was Couric. When she came out unhurt, he flopped onto the ground in a visible sign of relief.

Singer Rihanna enlisted the help of Jimmy Kimmel’s wife to prank him overnight.

She woke him up at 1 a.m. by blasting her new song, “B–ch better have my money,” in his bedroom.
