Speakeasy: Jeffrey Toobin gets smacked after making DOMA prediction

"I find I'm thinking more clearly now."

- CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin's response after an umbrella from one of his TV crew's light stands thwacked him in the face as he stood outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday. Mediaite's Noah Rothman pointed out that the hit to the face occurred directly after Toobin predicted that the Defense of Marriage Act was in trouble. "The fates apparently did not take kindly to Toobin's declaration and promptly smote him by sending a lighting fixture directly into his face," Rothman wrote. Toobin famously called the government's case in support of Obamacare "a train wreck," though the majority of the justices clearly didn't have the same take, upholding President Obama's health care legislation last June.
