An intriguing Labor Day match-up with Navy kicks off the Maryland football schedule next fall. In addition to the game at M&T Bank Stadium, the Terrapins will play six times at Byrd Stadium. They also will resume hostilities with West Virginia, a former constant on the schedule (1980-2007).

The schedule includes six bowl teams, three who finished last season ranked (Clemson, Miami and West Virginia). For the first time in 12 years the Terps will not have a Thursday night ESPN game.

Maryland will have one of the easiest schedules in the ACC. The Terps will not face 2009 conference champion Georgia Tech, 2008 champion Virginia Tech or improving North Carolina. They will, however, face a tough stretch of four ACC road games in a span of five weeks.
