NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Jonathon Blum to a one-year, two-way contract.
The 23-year-old Blum played in 33 games with the Predators last season and scored seven points, and he played 48 games with the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals. The 6-foot-1 Blum debuted with the Predators in the 2010-11 season and has played in 56 career NHL games.

The native of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., was the first player from California drafted in the first round when Nashville picked Blum at No. 23 overall in 2007.
