Rhett Butler, you’re going to the Super Bowl!
On Saturday night at Union Station, the Rockville resident showed why he makes his living playing poker, as he bested 100 players in the Pros vs. Joes tournament to benefit the Wellness Community of Greater Washington, D.C.
Butler, who finished fifth in the 2006 World Series of Poker, won two tickets to the Feb. 3 Super Bowl in suburban Phoenix.
He didn’t just beat amateurs, either. Among his victims were local pros Steve Dannenmann and Lee Childs.
