The University of Maryland women?s basketball team begins defense of its national title Nov. 10, when the Terps open the regular season on the road against Middle Tennessee State. For Maryland to repeat as the champion, the Terps have to go through a schedule that includes 18 teams that made the postseason, including 15 NCAA Tournament teams.
The season also includes a three-day round-robin tournament at Comcast Center that features Texas Christian, George Washington and Arizona. Also, Maryland will host the annual Terrapin Classic Dec. 29-30, featuring Liberty, Marist and UNC-Greensboro.
