Korny and Jaws return to MNF
It is official the crew of ESPN Mike Tirico (play-by-play) and analysts Ron Jaworski and Tony Kornheiser will return as we reported earlier this month.
That means once again TK will head back to the booth for his third year as an analyst and he will again be paired with Jaws.
It is a great move by ESPN because the booth seemed to come together last season and it is clear that Kornheiser is finding his voice and a comfort level as part of the MNF team.
ESPN’s MNF delivered the four biggest household audiences, and 16 of the top 20, for cable television in 2007. Sports television’s signature series also solidified its position as the most-watched series in cable history.
They will start their 39th season with a nationally televised doubleheader on Monday, September 8 – Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (7 p.m. ET) and Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders (10:15 p.m).
What happens with TK on 3WT remains to be seen.
