NBC features Lindsey Vonn ,Apolo Ohno, and Shaun White today

NBC’s Wednesday primetime coverage of the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games begins tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Four of Team USA’s biggest stars and gold medal contenders compete in primetime.

 

Skiing sensation Lindsey Vonn will compete in her first of five events Wednesday in the women’s downhill gold medal final. The men’s snowboard halfpipe gold medal final is live and Team USA’s defending gold medalist Shaun White looks to take home gold for the second Olympics in a row. Team USA’s Shani Davis is also defending his gold medal in the men’s speed skating 1000m gold medal final, live. Davis’ top challenger is USA’s three-time Torino medalist Chad Hedrick. Apolo Ohno continues his quest to become the most decorated U.S. Winter Olympic athlete in history by leading the 5000m speed skating relay team to the semifinal and qualifying for his own spot in the 1000m.

Daytime coverage includes both the men’s and women’s cross-country sprint gold medal finals, live.

 

NBC LATENIGHT:

Latenight coverage includes the women’s short track 500m gold medal final and doubles luge gold medal final. Also, medal presentations and musical performances from the medal ceremonies.

Curling and hockey competition continue to heat up on cable. Live women’s curling coverage of the USA vs. Germany match is on USA Network. MSNBC has a double dose of hockey with the women’s Team Canada taking on Sweden and in the men’s competition Finland faces off against Belarus. On CNBC, live coverage of curling continues with the men’s competition between Team USA and Switzerland. Also, live men’s hockey coverage includes Sweden vs. Germany and Czech Republic taking on Slovakia. In women’s hockey, live coverage of Switzerland vs. Slovakia.
