SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The Sacramento Kings have taken UC Santa Barbara guard Orlando Johnson with the 36th overall pick in the NBA draft and immediately traded his rights to the Indiana Pacers.

The Kings will receive cash considerations in Thursday’s deal.

Johnson was a three-time All-Big West selection and the all-time leading scorer at UCSB with 1,825 points. He averaged 19.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists last season for the Gauchos.

Sacramento drafted Kansas forward Thomas Robinson in the first round with the fifth overall pick.
