Yes, most of the bets during the Super Bowl will be obvious: who wins the coin toss; who scores first; who wins the game; how many more pounds Gregg Williams will pack on during the week. OK, we’re not sure the last one is a real bet.
Still, we like the less-obvious ones.

Take the Gatorade Dump for example. If you’re betting that, yellow is the favored color at 1/1 while red is the biggest longshot at 25/2.
Then there’s the length of the national anthem by Carrie Underwood. They must think she’ll go fast because the over-under is one minute, 42 seconds. Just know that Jennifer Hudson sang it in 2:03 last year. You’re welcome.
There’s also the obligatory televised shots of father’s and girlfriends. In this case, the relative is Archie Manning and the girlfriend is Kim Kardashian. The over-under on Manning shots is 2.5; that’s a no-brainer. For Kardashian, it’s at 4.5. Listen, even if you’re sick of hearing about her, are you really tired of seeing her?
And who will have a better day: Kardashian’s boyfriend Reggie Bush or her brother-in-law Lamar Odom with the Lakers. It’ll pit Bush’s rushing yards vs. Odom’s total points, rebounds and assists vs. Portland the previous night. Kobe Bryant is placing money on Bush.
One thing we haven’t found is the odds of a member of The Who ending up in the hospital after their halftime performance. But we’re sure it exists.
