Taxpayers paid nearly $600,000 to rehab this three-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 4419 N. Kimball Ave. in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood with amenities like granite countertops and hardwood floors -- and it wound up selling for less than $200,000, an investigation by the Chicago Reporter found.
