The tag team of Donald Trump Jr. and former Fox personality Kimberly Guilfoyle has emerged as the Republican Party’s most popular — and busiest — cheerleaders on the campaign trail this fall, defending the president while condemning Democrats.
The couple have made dozens of stops for candidates around the nation, recently sweeping through Texas in six events for Sen. Ted Cruz and then last night in Michigan with Kid Rock and Ted Nugent to support Senate candidate John James.
Next up, a two-day bus tour through Montana. And this week, she cut several TV ads to run in key states.

“We’re MAGA cheerleaders,” said Guilfoyle in a reference to President Trump’s signature campaign motto, “Make America Great Again.”
Guilfoyle, vice chair of the Trump-aligned super PAC America First Action, added in an interview, “There is no day off, and there shouldn’t be because so much is on the line.”
Added Trump, “We have fun. It’s been intense but good.”

While most political events are well-plotted and staged, Guilfoyle said that she and Trump have a looser style.
“Sometimes, we’ll tag each other. ‘Do you want to go first?’ ‘Me first,’” she said they’ll ask each other.
Each brings a different style to their events. Trump, said Guilfoyle, is his “voice of reason, his VOR,” who makes the case that the president’s agenda, if not his presidency, could be derailed if Democrats take the House and Senate.
“Everything is on the line, the accomplishments, the achievements, that President Trump has been able to make so quickly in ‘Phase One.’ I want to see what will happen in ‘Phase Two,’” she said.
Trump said the crowds embrace his girlfriend. “They love her, it’s a good combo,” he said.

He, she said, serves up the red meat to the president’s base of voters. “Don’s hugely popular with the base. They just light up when he comes into the room, and he’s energizing in the crowd,” she said.
And he delivers the zingers, as he did in Michigan Wednesday night when he ripped Democrats for trying to stop every Trump initiative. “If Donald Trump today passed a bill in favor of oxygen, the Dems would be vehemently against it,” he said at the concert.
Together, and individually, they do a mix of events, some at big rallies, others in small conference rooms.
She has done 40 so far, many with Don Jr. At one recent gathering to hear Guilfoyle, 125 were expected, and 1,100 showed up. At the rally for James near Detroit, the hall was filled, and the Washington Examiner 's David Drucker reported: "The James rally, originally slated for a theater in downtown Pontiac, was moved nearby to a larger venue to accommodate the intense interest. His campaign said it received 5,500 RSVPs for the event. A reliable crowd estimate was unavailable, but the allotted space was largely filled, and the crowd, many wearing Trump paraphernalia, was boisterous and stayed until the end."
Guilfoyle said that the duo won’t stop campaigning until Election Day because, while they are working for House, Senate, and gubernatorial candidates, ultimately the election will determine the success or failure of the president.
“We’re very similar in the sense that we all put it out on the line, we wear it on our sleeve, we’re all in for the fight,” said Guilfoyle.
