Dr. Deborah Birx announced that the federal government will soon release a website with information tracking coronavirus infections throughout the country.
Birx, response coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said during a press conference on Tuesday that the website would have demographic data that will inform people about cases based on age, preexisting condition status, and other individualized characteristics. The website has not yet been made public but is expected to be unveiled shortly.
“We’re committed, not only to making [data about coronavirus cases] public, but to have a website that everyone can see in real time,” Birx said.
