James Hodgkinson, the man authorities say opened fire on the Republicans' congressional baseball practice, voiced his support for the Occupy Wall Street movement in a TV interview from 2011.

"The 99 percent are getting pushed around, and the 1 percent doesn't give a damn. So we've got to speak up for our country," Hodgkinson said in the video.

At least four people, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, were shot early Wednesday morning. Police engaged Hodgkinson, who subsequently died of his injuries.
