Breitbart News was denied entry to a rally President Trump is attending to support Luther Strange, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate from Alabama.
"And Breitbart is denied entry into Trump-Strange rally #alpolitics," Jeff Poor, editor of Breitbart TV tweeted Friday. He didn't explain why he was denied entry.
Breitbart News was instructed earlier this week to increase the number of negative stories published about Strange, who is backed by Trump, CNN reported.
Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist, is back at Breitbart News serving as executive chairman, following his White House departure and is supporting Strange's opponent, Judge Roy Moore.
Moore and Strange's run-off election is next week. The successful candidate will continue to the general election to determine who will serve the remainder of the term started by former Sen. Jeff Sessions, who is now Trump's attorney general.
