Schiff’s committee in the House of Representatives led the impeachment investigation into President Trump. The California Democrat was named one of seven impeachment managers for a Senate trial that is slated to begin next week.
Trump often tweets negatively about Schiff, who he has called a “total partisan” and a “liar.”
