Alec Baldwin is acting for the first time in 10 months since cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed on the movie set of Rust.
The actor will star on Broadway in a revival of the play Art by Yasmina Reza, according to the New York Post.
Baldwin, 64, will reportedly be joined by stage phenoms Tony Shalhoub from The Band’s Visit and John Leguizamo from Latin History for Morons. Tony-winner Matthew Warchus from Matilda signed on as director.
The Broadway performance is expected to open in the spring of 2023 at a Shubert theater.

The actor is at the center of an investigation regarding how the on-set and loaded gun that he was holding went off. His attorney, Luke Nikas, continues to dispute the FBI’s claim that the trigger had to have been pulled, saying his client never discharged the gun.
He has not been charged in Hutchins’s death or the wounding of director Joel Souza.
