Betrayal is perhaps one of the worst feelings a human can experience. Someone you trusted knowingly deceived you for their own gain. For women who chose Planned Parenthood for their "reproductive needs," they may be feeling betrayed right now.

They thought they had signed a consent form to donate the "fetal tissue" of their abortion for research, but in reality, it has come to light that the abortion giant may have profited off of the baby parts of their child. In fact, their baby may have endured a horrific ending — just so Planned Parenthood could fill its baby body parts order for the day.

The two undercover videos from the Center for Medial Progress are heinous but shed much-needed light on Planned Parenthood's business model. In the first video, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood Federation of America's senior director of medical services, candidly discusses harvesting and selling the body parts of aborted babies. In exceptionally gruesome terms, she reveals that if certain organs are needed, she'll "crush" only specific parts of the baby in order to get those particular organs.

In the second video, Dr. Mary Gatter, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America's Medical Directors Council, haggles over the price of body parts of aborted babies and jokingly asks for a Lamborghini.

Had enough yet?

Planned Parenthood is a non-profit that gets an astounding $500+ million a year from us — the taxpayers. In fact, in 2013-2014, government money made up 46 percent of its total revenue. In 2014, its president, Cecile Richards, made over $590,000. Not bad for the head of a non-profit.

In the first video, Dr. Nucatola is ever vigilant of Planned Parenthood's status as a non-profit and recognizes that when the affiliates of Planned Parenthood harvest baby body parts, they at least need to break even, and hey, if they can do better, why not?

But Dr. Nucatola is sensitive to how this may be viewed in the public and notes "[the affiliates] just want to do it in a way that is not perceived as 'this clinic is selling tissue, this clinic is making money off of this.'"

What about those women who thought they were donating only the "fetal tissue" of their aborted babies for research? I can't imagine the agony and the betrayal they may be feeling now. At an emotional time in their lives, they thought they were consenting to something that was "an extra bit of good," to quote Dr. Nucatola, and now they are finding out that their baby could have been strategically crushed and her parts sold.

One woman posted on Planned Parenthood's Facebook page that she had an abortion when she was 16-years-old and is suicidal now thinking about the fact that her baby's body parts were sold for profit.

But this is how Planned Parenthood operates. This is its business model.

Planned Parenthood can do all the fluffy, pink uterus pillow promotion, dancing-in-birth-control-pill costume videos it wants in order to show that it cares about women but frankly, it doesn't care. All Planned Parenthood cares about is its bottom line.

What's going to make Planned Parenthood money at the end of the day? Abortions. In 2013, it committed 327,653 abortions.

Planned Parenthood is a business that makes money. Every pregnant woman that walks into Planned Parenthood is a dollar sign, nothing more — and that is heartbreaking.

Women facing crisis pregnancies do have options. There are over 3,000 not-for-profit pregnancy help centers across America that provide free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, counseling, parenting classes, and material support for young mothers and couples. And there are over 8,000 federally-funded Community Health Centers that provide all the same services as Planned Parenthood, but don't sell abortions.

For college-aged women, houses one of the largest searchable databases of resources on campuses across the country so women don't have to choose between their child and their education.

Planned Parenthood is concerned about the bottom line, no matter what. It is going to continue this heinous practice of casually getting consent from mothers and then selling the baby body parts from aborted children until someone stops it.

It's about time we do — and we will. Join us, and thousands of Americans, as we rally against Planned Parenthood in dozens of cities across the country next Tuesday, July 28th and demand that the organization be investigated and defunded. Will you join us? Learn more at
