Shaquille O’Neal announced he will work to make amends with any enemies or people he’s had disputes with, following the death of his former teammate Kobe Bryant.
“I’m all about being hard and all that but … I’m going to have to delete my beef and my confrontation clause. I don’t want to do that anymore,” O’Neal said in a Tuesday episode of The Big Podcast. “I guess I just call all the people I’ve had discrepancies with and say, ‘Look, man. I love you.'”
O’Neal and Bryant had a well-documented feud while the two played for the Los Angeles Lakers. The feud eventually led to O’Neal leaving the team, which had won three championships with the duo at that point. The pair reconciled before Bryant’s death, however.
“There’s no words to express the pain Im going through with this tragedy of loosing my neice Gigi & my brother @kobebryant I love u and u will be missed,” O’Neal tweeted Sunday. “My condolences goes out to the Bryant family and the families of the other passengers on board. IM SICK RIGHT NOW.”
