The director of the Office of Business and Management basically called him a mop haired hippie. The representative from South Carolina responded by basically calling the budget wonk a micromanaging scrooge.

It's the latest back-and-forth in the war of words between White House budget chief Mick Mulvaney and Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. And while Mulvaney started it, the sharp-tongued South Carolina representative with sloppy hair seems intent on finishing it.

"Mick won't even fund Meals on Wheels," Gowdy told the Washington Examiner. "He surely isn't going to pay for someone else's haircut."

That quip, a reference to reductions in the administration's budget blueprint, might have hit a bit too close to home. After Gowdy dropped the mic, the normally fiery Mulvaney was unavailable for comment at press time.
