President Trump celebrated growth in the U.S. economy and manufacturing industry in a string of tweets he released Friday morning.

"Toyota & Mazda to build a new $1.6B plant here in the U.S.A. and create 4K new American jobs. A great investment in American manufacturing!" Trump wrote. "....and don't forget that Foxconn will be spending up to 10 billion dollars on a top of the line plant/plants in Wisconsin."

Trump also touted consumer confidence reaching a 16-year high as a result of his administration's regulation "busting."

Trump was in high spirits at a rally in West Virginia Thursday night, which he called an "incredible" experience.

"Crowds and enthusiasm were beyond, GDP at 3%, wow!Dem Governor became a Republican last night," Trump wrote.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced Thursday that he was switching from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party. The GOP now has governors in 34 states, the highest number since the 1920s.
