President Trump lashed out at members of the media in a social media tirade shortly after midnight.
The president specifically singled out some of his favorite television targets, including Brian Williams and Joe Scarborough of MSNBC and Don Lemon of CNN, in his early Thursday morning rant.
Williams, whose show airs at 11 p.m., opened his Wednesday episode by discussing recent reports that the president blew up at his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, after he was shown swing-state data that projected he’d lose to former Vice President Joe Biden in must-win states. The president denied the reports on social media Wednesday night, calling them “nonsense.”
“Lyin’ Brian Williams of MSDNC, a Concast Scam Company, wouldn’t know the truth if it was nailed to his wooden forehead. Remember when he lied about his bravery in a helicopter? Totally made up story. He’s a true dummy who was thrown off Network News like a dog. Stay tuned!” he tweeted.

“I must admit that Lyin’ Brian Williams is, while dumber than hell, quite a bit smarter than Fake News @CNN ‘anchorman’ Don Lemon, the ‘dumbest man on television,'” Trump added. “Then you have Psycho Joe ‘What Ever Happened To Your Girlfriend?’ Scarborough, another of the low I.Q. individuals!”

On his show Wednesday night, Lemon went on a tirade about the growing amount of outdoor activity by the public, during which he accused those people of endangering others.
The president also tweeted a video montage of outlets reporting on the news that Williams had lied about a story he told on the air. At the time, he claimed he had been riding in a military helicopter that was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade during the Iraq War in 2003.
