FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Frederick Community College has approved a $47.7 million budget that includes tuition increases and employee pay raises.
The Frederick News-Post (http://tinyurl.com/7mk265x ) reports that the board of trustees passed the fiscal 2013 budget Wednesday. It includes increasing the tuition for in-country students from $106 to $109 per credit hour. It also features a salary step-increase for employees and a 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment.
The operating budget includes funding for four new full-time faculty members and two part-time clinical coordinator positions. The new faculty will teach human services, English, math and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.
