The city could join a downtown revitalization program to enhance its economic potential depending on the outcome of a July 31 public forum.
The city?s Office of Economic Development will host the meeting on the Maryland Main Street Program.
The program is administered through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and began in 1998 to revitalize downtown areas by improving the economy and appearance of businesses.
The July 31 forum will begin at 5 p.m. on 160 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis.
