O‘Malley will join U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Discovery Communications on Tuesday at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus of Montgomery College to announce a public-private partnership to promote job growth and jobs skills development. O’Malley’s administration has set a goal of increasing the number of Marylanders who receive skills training through the state’s workforce system by 20 percent by 2012.
