President Biden told a reporter to give him a “break” in response to a question about his plan to distribute coronavirus vaccines.
“When I announced it, you all said it wasn’t possible,” Biden told Zeke Miller of the Associated Press when asked if 100 million vaccines within 100 days was too low of a goal. “Come on, gimme a break, man.”

Biden, and the press in general, were promptly mocked on social media after the exchange.

Biden has said his goal of 100 million vaccines within 100 days will be “one of the most challenging operational efforts we’ve ever undertaken as a nation.”
“We’ll have to move heaven and earth to get more people vaccinated, to create more places for them to get vaccinated, to mobilize more medical teams to get shots in peoples’ arms,” he added.
