Air Force sex scandal deepens

Air Force officials announced Wednesday that they’ve assigned a two-star general to investigate what appears to be a growing sexual misconduct scandal at Lackland Air Force Base. Two flight instructors in Texas have been refered to a special court martial.

A preliminary investigation reveals that possibly a dozen instructors stationed at the Texas base are now suspected of assaulting female recruits in the program.

And it doesn’t stop at Lackland Air Force Base. Investigators are also checking into reports of misconduct at four Air Force bases in two other states. So far, 35 military instructors have been removed from their posts.
