The National Cherry Blossom Festival is back in person after two years of cancellations due to COVID-19. It is set to take place this coming week on the National Mall.

National Mall and Memorial Parks announced Saturday that the Cherry Blossom trees have only one more stage before reaching peak bloom.

“So close!” National Mall and Memorial Parks posted on Facebook. “The blossoms are out, now we’re just waiting on them to open. This is stage five — puffy white.”
