Serena Williams had some pretty high-powered spectators to impress Thursday night. First lady Michelle Obama was in attendance, along with her daughters Sasha and Malia. Washington Examiner sports reporter Kevin Dunleavy wrote that the trio was sitting above one baseline. Former Washington Wizard Caron Butler was also in attendance. Serena won both doubles matches and the singles match she played in.
