RNC slams Dems’ ‘pattern of favoritism’ toward Clinton

The Democratic National Committee shows favoritism toward front-runner Hillary Clinton, according to the DNC’s Republican counterpart.

“It is so troubling to see the DNC engage in such heavy-handed favoritism benefitting Hillary Clinton, a pattern which will continue tomorrow night with another debate deliberately scheduled to limit viewership,” RNC communications director Sean Spicer said in a statement.

The three Democratic primary candidates, Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley, will face off Saturday night at the third Democratic debate of the primary season. Many Democrats complained that the DNC is holding too few debates and electing to broadcast them at a time with a small audience, such as the Saturday night before Christmas.

The DNC suspended Sanders’ access to the party’s 50-state national database of voter information because aides to the Vermont senator’s campaign accessed confidential voter data belonging to the Clinton campaign. Sanders has responded that this is another example of DNC bias against his campaign in favor of Clinton.
