Justice Sandra Day O’Connor returned to Washington Monday to say that kids these days really don’t know that much about America.

“Nationalized people have to know a lot more than what kids need to know today when they graduate,” she told the National Conference of Citizenship. She’s helped to develop a video game about the courts. Does she feel that civics should be mandatory? “Yes! Yes!” she adamantly relied. But when asked her opinion on compulsory voting she replied,  “There are a few nations in the world that do it, but ones I don’t admire.”
