WATCH: Iranian media releases video reportedly depicting attack against US forces

Iranian media released videos of the missile attacks against American forces in Iraq.

The semiofficial Fars News released some of the videos purporting to be of the attacks on its Twitter account. The video shows a blast from an explosion on the horizon, followed about three seconds later by the sound from the attack.

Fars claimed the video was sourced from nearby Al Assad base, which was the target of multiple missiles.

The Pentagon confirmed that at least two U.S. bases in Iraq were targeted in the early hours of Wednesday morning, local time. Iran has claimed responsibility for the attack, touting it as retribution for the U.S. drone strike that killed top Iranian military commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

A U.S. Central Command official told the Washington Examiner earlier that no U.S. casualties have immediately been reported.

President Trump has threatened “major retaliation” if the country seeks revenge.

Trump said he has a list of 52 Iranian targets that might be attacked following an Iranian retaliation. It is unclear if the United States is preparing to respond to Iran following the missile attacks on the bases.
