Kanye West posted a video of himself casting his first presidential vote, writing in his own name on the Wyoming ballot.
“The first vote of my life We are here to serve We pray for every servant leader in the world,” West tweeted, accompanied by a video of his ballot, which appeared to be blank for sections on local elections.

The presidential candidate tweeted earlier in the day that he was casting a ballot for “someone I truly trust.”
“God is so good,” he wrote. “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”

West didn’t make it on the ballot in Wyoming, where he is registered to vote, but he qualified for ballot access in 12 other states, including Arkansas, Colorado, and Idaho.
The rapper previously supported President Trump and even wore a Make America Great Again hat during a meeting with the president in 2018.
“They tried to scare me to not wear this hat,” West said. “This hat, it gives me power in a way.”
He has since reversed course, saying, “I’m taking the red hat off.”
“I’m not saying Trump’s in my way. He may be a part of my way. And Joe Biden? Like come on, man, please,” West told Forbes in July. “Obama’s special. Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special.”
