Stephanopoulos’ AARP card goes to wrong address

Good Morning America’s” George Stephanopoulos is turning 50 on Thursday,  and to mark that milestone he was sent an AARP card in the mail. Unfortunately for Stephanopoulos, the AARP missed the memo that he moved from D.C. to New York City some time ago and sent his membership card to his old Dupont Circle bachelor pad, now the headquarters of iStrategyLabs.

“We’ve always known the history of the place,” iStrategyLab’s Joe Corbett told Yeas & Nays. “When we first moved in the landlord told us George Stephanopoulos made this his sweet pad.” The ABC newsman used the Dupont circle townhome, located adjacent to Kramerbooks, to throw parties back in the day.

This is the first time, however, that they’ve gotten a piece of Stephanopoulos’ mail. Corbett reached out to the former Clinton staffer via Twitter, even posting a picture of the envelope, hoping that Stephanolpoulos would reply, but so far no luck. “He has not reached back out,” Corbett said.

UPDATE: Stephanopoulos responds on Twitter.
