Local representatives of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) have uninvited Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., from speaking at their event due to his criticism of House Democrats.
“There’s a certain statement he made about Communists,” Jerry Gore, president of a local Florida chapter of the NAACP, said to explain why West would not address his organization.
