Mike Huckabee is trying to drum up support in Iowa by appropriating the music of an almost universally beloved artist: Adele.
The former Arkansas governor released a campaign video Wednesday with a song set to the tune of Adele’s “Hello” as the Huckabee campaign makes a final push for votes in Iowa before the Feb. 1 caucus.
The song’s hook was changed from “hello from the other side” to “hello from the caucus night,” and it even includes shout-outs to two Iowa cities, Sioux City and Davenport.
The video, called “Hello Huck,” contains many scenes of Huckabee talking on a cellphone and driving shots depicting snowy roads as a woman sings about there being “no difference between Obama and Hillary Clinton” and how “if Bernie wins I’m gonna die,” referring to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Huckabee’s campaign also took a direct shot at Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with a fake text conversation where Cruz inadvertently admitted to being a Canadian citizen, which has come up amid questions over the legality of his presidential bid.

There is precedent for Huckabee having success in Iowa, considering he won the caucuses in 2008. But so far in the 2016 election cycle, he has not been able to gain enough traction to challenge prospective front-runners Donald Trump, Cruz and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
Huckabee ranks 10th in the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings.
