As gas prices and inflation rise under President Joe Biden, Krispy Kreme is trying to help drivers hurting at the pumps by offering them donuts at a discount.
Krispy Kreme is offering motorists a box of donuts costing the same price as a gallon of unleaded gas, according to a report.
The chain will use the national average gallon price as the marker for the price of a dozen glazed donuts, according to Krispy Kreme.

“Inflation and high gasoline prices are serious and forcing families to make tough trade-offs,” Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said. “We know that despite the high gas prices, people have to be out and about anyway.”
The discounted glazed donuts will be made available to customers starting Wednesday until May 4, and prices will be updated every Monday, according to the report.
