Napping on the job? Mattress brand looks to hire professional sleepers


A mattress brand is looking to pay people to sleep on the job.

Casper, a mattress company based out of New York, is looking to hire people who can sleep through almost anything.

Casper’s professional sleepers will “sleep in our stores, and in unexpected settings out in the world,” according to Casper’s job posting.

When awake, those hired will share their sleep experiences on social media.

Listed job requirements include a “pajama dress-code” and a passion for “talking about all things sleep.”

Several aspiring Casper sleepers have posted TikTok videos explaining why they would be a good fit for the job.

One applicant described the job as something she had “been waiting my whole life for.”
