Said Biden, portentously: “World War I, World War II . . . By the way, for those wars to get to France, they had to roll into Poland first on the way.” Dan Kennedy of the Boston Phoenix gave Biden a well-deserved lesson in history and geography on this one, for which THE SCRAPBOOK, for obvious reasons, hastens to give Mr. Kennedy full credit.
