Donald Trump Jr. teased the possibility of President Trump nominating Fox News host Jeanine Pirro as a Supreme Court justice, following Justice Anthony Kennedy announcing his retirement on Wednesday.
“This would be pretty awesome,” Trump Jr. wrote on social media, retweeting another Twitter user discussing her candidacy.

Pirro, a former Westchester County Court judge in New York, also commented on Kennedy’s news online.
Justice Kennedy retiring – great opportunity to make America great again!

Pirro, a fervent Trump supporter, often uses her “Justice with Jeanine” program on Fox News to endorse the president’s policies and decisions.
But Pirro may not be interested in the role after a report earlier in June suggested she wanted to replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions as the country’s top law enforcement official.
Kennedy advised Trump on Wednesday that he would be retiring from the Supreme Court, ending a career on the bench that spanned more than 30 years and creating a second vacancy for Trump.
