Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones caused a scene outside a congressional hearing on Tuesday ahead of testimony by Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
Video captured the online provocateur trying to shame Pichai as he walked into a Capitol Hill hearing room to testify on Google’s alleged bias against conservatives voices.
Jones, who rose to prominence in part due to his podcast and online talk show InfoWars, has been banned from major social media platforms who say his rhetoric violates their rules.
Jones has falsely claimed that former President Barack Obama was born in Kenya and the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre was a hoax.
“Google is siding with communist Chinese against America,” Jones shouted as Pichai entered the hearing room. “Google is going to lie again and violate the law.”

A U.S. Capitol police officer is seen in the video telling Jones to stop screaming and threatens to arrest him.
“I understand,” Jones replied. “He’s just taking my free speech away and lying about me. I need to stand up to that.”
Jones was joined at his protest by former Trump campaign adviser and political trickster Roger Stone, who has emerged as a player in the special counsel’s probe into the Trump campaign’s involvement with Russia during the 2016 election.
During his testimony, Pichai assured lawmakers the company operates “without political bias” and “provides platforms for diverse perspectives and opinions.”
