A feast of plenty for the Bushes

What did you have for Easter brunch? We bet it wasn’t as much as the Bush family, which had what could only be called Thanksgiving in March at Camp David.

The first couple was joined by former President George H.W. Bush, former first lady Barbara Bush and first daughter Barbara Bush with — get this — an “unidentified male companion.”

The menu, released by the first lady’s press office, included honey-baked ham with maple mustard sauce, eggs Benedict, bacon, biscuits, spinach salad, waffles, sauteed asparagus, cheese grits, fresh fruit platter, double coconut layer cake and lemon curd trifle with fresh berries.

We wonder whether President Bush’s bike ride was extra long this weekend.
