Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said Vice President Kamala Harris’s speaking blunders are a reason to pray for President Joe Biden’s health.
Gingrich told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that Harris’s repetitive ”the passage of time” remarks, in which she said the phrase at least four times within the span of a minute while speaking in Sunset, Louisiana, on Monday, highlight an incoherence on her part.
“Kamala Harris may be the dumbest person ever elected vice president in American history, and that’s why people keep resigning,” Gingrich said, referencing the latest departure of Harris’s top national security aide, Nancy McEldowney.
“I mean, if you were her national security adviser, and you were competent and you’d worked hard, and you knew what you were doing and you watched her in Poland break up laughing when she’s asked about Ukrainian refugees, you had to feel a sense of total humiliation,” Gingrich continued. “So, I’m not surprised that that particular adviser resigned.”
The former Republican speaker said Harris’s behavior is cause enough to keep her home.
“It’s very clear that Kamala Harris should never, ever be allowed to leave the country. She probably shouldn’t be allowed to leave the naval observatory, which is the residence of the vice president,” Gingrich said.

To save America’s respect around the world, Gingrich warned Biden’s trip to Europe this week must include a strong statement of America’s stance on Russia’s threats to use chemical warfare.
“We need to state very clearly that if you start using chemical weapons, we will respond within hours,” Gingrich advised. “We cannot relax and allow Putin to continue to be a war criminal who thinks he can get away with anything because the American president is too timid and too cautious to do anything.”

Gingrich suggested the war in Ukraine could be over much sooner if the United States gave Ukraine the equipment needed to drive away Russian fleets from the Ukrainian coast and to bomb Russian airfields, missile sites, and missile supplies. He claimed that Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, is likely slowing down the delivery of supplies to Ukraine.
“[Sullivan] ought to be fired and replaced by somebody who would actually like to defeat Putin in Ukraine, not help him win,” Gingrich said.
