Triathlon competitor dies A Nation’s Triathlon competitor died of a heart attack during the bicycle portion of the event Sunday morning, D.C. police said.
The unidentified man rolled up to the race’s medical team and said he needed assistance, race director Bill Burke said. Shortly thereafter he went into cardiac arrest.
