2020 is a utilitarian election

Voters at the polls in 2016 had an agonizing decision to make. Do you vote for one of the single most corrupt and dishonest politicians in modern American history — a woman who ruined the lives of her predator-husband’s alleged victims? Or do you pick the brash billionaire-cum-reality television star famous for multiple affairs, freely talking of preying on women, and resorting to racial animus while pushing his immigration policies?

The Electoral College chose the latter, and two years later, the moral cost of the Trump presidency has already been incurred.
