Ladies, it’s official. “Magic Mike” director Steven Soderbergh and star Channing Tatum are for sure bringing a musical version of the film to Broadway, according to Deadline. The early plan is the have the production ready for the stage by summer of 2013. Soderbergh and Tatum will serve as producers. “Magic Mike,” the film version of which hits theaters on Friday, is loosely based on Tatum’s own real life experiences of being a male stripper prior to becoming a Hollywood star.
