Actor Kevin Spacey is facing seven additional sexual offense charges in the United Kingdom, bringing the country’s total charges against him to 11.
The Crown Prosecution Service said Spacey would be charged over “a number of sexual assaults against one man between 2001 and 2004,” as well as “one charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent,” per CBS News.
KEVIN SPACEY FOUND NOT LIABLE IN SEXUAL ABUSE CASE
CPS, which is responsible for prosecutions in England and Wales, said the seven sexual offenses occurred both before and after 2003, when new sexual offenses legislation was enacted. Spacey pleaded not guilty in July to the original four charges of sexual abuse against three men between 2005 and 2013.
According to British law, the names of the victims cannot be shared, and details given before the trial must be severely limited.
The actor is set to go to trial for the U.K. charges in 2023 and continues to deny the allegations.

Spacey, who is known for his work in House of Cards and American Beauty and lives in the United States, has been facing sexual assault allegations for many years, most notably when actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual misconduct five years ago.
Rapp claimed the Hollywood star targeted him when he was 14, but a judge dismissed part of the $40 million criminal lawsuit in October after determining Rapp waited too long for the case to justify a criminal charge.
